"A Christmas Carol" - Sunday, December 21, 4:30 p.m.

Come one, come all! Ministry Intern Naomi Hunter leads us in an an evening in the true spirit of Christmas! Scripts of Charles Dickens' classic tale, "A Christmas Carol" will be given out to all in attendance - there are parts big and small, characters and narrators. We welcome your voice to share the story.

The script is based on a version that Charles Dickens actually used on tour, reading all the parts himself. Casting will cross lines of age and gender, and will happen on the fly, as the reading is taking place! Let us know if you would like to read a lot, a little or something in between and we'll assign you the perfect part. The story takes about 90 minutes to read through and we will take a refreshment break at approximately the middle. Reading will begin around 5 pm and you are welcome to join later or slip away part way through, as your time permits.

Drinks warm and cold will be provided. In the spirit of a simpler time, please bring a small plate of 4-6 cookies or Christmas nibbles - enough for yourself and for one other person. We ask a contribution for the food bank: non-perishable food personal care toiletry items (shampoo, soap, deodorant, combs,  razors, shaving cream, aftershave, toothpaste and toothbrushes, towels, skin lotion).

Please join us in this (almost) unique, community-driven rendition of this classic Christmas  tale...

Sunday, December 21, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meeting in the Parish Hall through the parking lot entrance to the Skey Room.
