Cantate: A Neighbourhood Christmas Concert - Sunday, December 7, 3:00 p.m.

posted 28 Nov 2014, 14:39 by Gary van der Meer   [ updated 8 Dec 2014, 13:54 ]

Our second annual Christmas concert brings the neighbourhood and wider community together to support the Youth Scholarship Program of the Division 14 Community Police Liaison Committee. The scholarship supports high school students with demonstrated involvement in community leadership for their first year of university. Special guests include recipients of this year's scholarship.

The concert features the Choir of St. Anne's, The Junction Trio, and guests, and the programme includes Vaugh Williams' classic Fantasia on Christmas Carols, excerpts from Handel's Messiah and other favourites, along with a carol-sing.

Why are we doing this concert? See the Back Story below.

Tickets are $15.00. Children under 12 - FREE. We are selling tickets in advance, with remaining tickets available at the door.

Plan to be with us! Sunday, December 7, 3:00 p.m.
