Celebrate Christmas with us at St. Anne's - in worship, music & art, and community events:

Christmas Concert: Cantate - A Neighbourhood Christmas Concert. Add your voice to our favourite Christmas carols, with selections from Handel's Messiah and other Christmas favourites performed by the St. Anne's Choir, the Junction Trio and Friends; with a dance performance by the Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement, and the invited participation of children of all ages. Proceeds from this concert support the youth scholarship of the Community Police Liaison Committee of Toronto Police Division 14. This scholarship is for high school students who have distinguished themselves by their involvement in the community at schools within the boundaries served by Division 14. Free parking. Tickets $10. Sunday, December 8, 2:00 p.m.

Christmas Pageant: The pageant takes the form of a short play written by St. Anne's parishioner Robin Sewell. The parts are intergenerational. Roles will be assigned and rehearsed during the children's program on the three Sundays before the pageant is presented.  The pageant will be presented as part of an intergenerational liturgy of the Holy Eucharist. Sunday, December 22, 10:30 a.m.

Christmas Eve Family Service: The early Christmas Eve service presents the birth of Jesus in an engaging child-friendly liturgy with favourite Christmas Carols. Come in costume as an angel, shepherd or sheep - the liturgy concludes with a huge photo-vignette at the manger. Bring your camera. Tuesday, December 24, 5:30 p.m.

Candlelight Christmas Eve:  The late Christmas Eve service is a candlelight choral celebration of the birth of Jesus. It's all beauty, mystery, and joy. Midnight mass indicates the time of the liturgy's conclusion as we welcome Christmas Day. Tuesday, December 24, 10:30 p.m.

Christmas Day: On Christmas morning, you choose the music! Suggest your favourites in and extended time of carolling.  We celebrate the Christmas Eucharist at the high altar - please sit with us in the chancel. You are invited to stay afterwards for coffee, orange juice, and a light breakfast. Wednesday, December 25, 10:30 a.m.

Community Dinner Christmas Service: We offer Christmas Communion at the conclusion of the Community Dinner. Join us for a wonderful meal, beautiful Christmas music on the piano and accordion. We welcome volunteers to assist with the dinner. Please contribute to our celebration in the form of socks - which we will give out to our guests. Sunday, December 29, 5:30 p.m.

Epiphany - the 12th Day of Christmas: We celebrate the arrival of the Magi as the conclusion of the 12 days of Christmas and the beginning of the season of Epiphany. The large creche figures of the wise men arrive at the manger scene. What is their significance and what does their story teach us about wisdom for our time? This liturgy is followed by the Epiphany Skating Party. Sunday, January 5, 10:30 a.m.
