We are holding our second Interfaith Sermon Exchange with the congregation of City Shul, a congregation of Reformed Judaism located on the campus of the University of Toronto.

On Saturday, October 22, St. Anne's visits the synagogue to participate in the service. We begin with a brief orientation, where we are matched with hosting members of the synagogue who will help us follow along in Hebrew.

The texts for the day: Exodus 33:12-34:26, Numbers 28: 26-31; Ecclesiastes 1 & 3.

On Sunday, November 1, we welcome the congregation of City Shul at St. Anne's. Rabbi Elyse Goldstein will preach on the Christian texts for All Souls' Day.

The texts for the day: Isaiah 25:6-9, Psalm 27, Romans 6:3-9, John 6:37-40.
This is about friendship. Our priority is to appreciate each other and be in solidarity with each other. We will learn a lot about our own faith. It's stimulating and interesting to encounter other customs and practices, other ways to come at the great mysteries of life.

You are required to register in advance to participate. Contact City Shul or St. Anne's to confirm your participation.
