St. Anne's joins Proud Anglicans for Toronto Pride Parade - Sunday, June 23, 12:00 p.m.

Walk with us in the Pride Parade as part of Proud Anglicans, a group representing Anglican congregations that welcome LGBTQ people and affirm their relationships. Come with us because you identify with a letter in the acronym, or because you're an ally!

Join us at the church for worship at 10:30, then we will travel together to the start of the parade route. We plan to share a picnic lunch when we arrive. Please bring lunch for yourself plus extra items to share. This will allow us to invite any last-minute participants to join us.

You are welcome to walk the parade route with us (approximately 4 km) or to ride on top of the double decker bus. We join representatives of other LGBTQ+ affirming parishes. We are invited to carry our St. Anne's Banner.

Last-minute details will be provided during the Sunday announcements at the conclusion of the 10:30 worship service regarding travelling together.

The staging area for the parade is at Bloor Street East and Jarvis Street around 2:00 p.m. You may wish to wait in this intersection or to walk down Rosedale Valley Road to where the floats assemble prior to the start of the parade.

We will share the assigned float number in the week before the parade.

We would expect to conclude the parade by about 4:30 p.m. (maybe later if there are unexpected delays).  Bring water, weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and your camera.

Sunday, June 23, 12:00 departure from the church.
