We tell of the death of Jesus - a dramatic reading of the Passion with members of the congregation taking the parts. Our youth bible study members bring in a large wooden cross for a stark and reflective time of confession, and we are invited to come forward to touch the wood. We leave in silence taking away our own recognition of the significance of Christ in the journey of living an authentic courageous life.
Please join us in the Church, 270 Gladstone Avenue, on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Following the liturgy, we will adjourn to the parish hall for coffee and hot-cross buns.
