Our annual celebration of the Parish of St. Anne includes music, drama, a tour of our community engagement over the past year, and a potluck barbecue. Last year, we were “The Church of the Big Tent” and we threw our party under a great white tent in the parking lot. This year, we’re in the church!
We’ve invited our neighbours during the Dundas West Festival. Our children and youth are presenting a drama about Anne and Joachim, the grandparents of Jesus. We will bring you new stories of neighbourhood friendships from our bike tour of the parish. Of course all of this is presented with glorious music, words to inspire our faith, and a feast from the barbecue at the conclusion of the service.
[Our patronal feast was a great day: drama, music in the great outdoors, and a wonderful lunch. Thanks to all who helped as we welcomed our neighbours!]
