St. Anne's Day: Celebration of our Patron Saint - Sunday, September 20, 10:30 a.m.

posted 9 Sep 2015, 14:08 by Gary van der Meer   [ updated 23 Sep 2015, 06:49 ]

St. Anne, for whom our church is named, was the mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus. We have transferred this celebration from its ancient date in the Christian calendar, July 26, to Sunday September 20, and we've turned the day into a the St. Anne's Community Weekend. Join us on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Sunday's celebration is a celebration of the Holy Eucharist with guest preacher, Archbishop Terence E. Finlay.

Immediately following the service, join us for Tea in the Ministry Centre, 276 Gladstone Avenue. Also serving Lemonade-on-the-Lawn. Presented by our Archives Committee as they open a new display on the history of the church.

Everyone is welcome. Sunday, September 20, 10:30 a.m.
