"What does God have to do with Art?" - Neighbourhood Gallery Walk, Saturday, April 6, 2:00 p.m.

posted 19 Mar 2013, 08:33 by Gary van der Meer   [ updated 11 Apr 2013, 10:14 ]

The Dundas West art gallery scene is booming! Join us for a walking tour of the art galleries along Dundas West from Sheridan Avenue to Ossington Avenue. At last count there were eight art galleries within a few blocks of St. Anne’s. Some are long-time, established residents like Jessica Bradley Projects and others are newcomers testing their wings in the Toronto art market. We’ll meet some of the gallery owners and one of the exhibiting artists will speak to us about his or her work (details to follow).

We’ll stop for coffee and Portuguese pastries along the way, and for the diehards, we’ll end the afternoon with a stop in a local pub.

Meet us at the Church, 270 Gladstone Avenue, in time to start walking at 2:00 p.m.
