Postlude for Learning: Who Chooses the Sunday Scripture Readings? - Sunday, January 18

posted 28 Nov 2014, 14:13 by Gary van der Meer   [ updated 26 Jan 2015, 12:53 ]

Postlude for Learning is a short presentation (10 minutes) on aspects of our worship at St. Anne’s. The presentation will focus on a theme question (publicized in advance), followed by a brief Q & A.

Upcoming Theme Questions: Who chooses the Scripture Readings? Why do we have two altars in the church? How is Jesus present in the bread and wine? What is the logic of the order things happen in our worship service? Why do we stand, sit, or kneel in the service?  You are also welcome to submit theme questions to be addressed at future presentation.

Postlude for Learning is offered on the third Sunday of each month, immediately following the conclusion of the Sunday morning worship service. Please be seated near the front of the church as we begin (we may walk to different parts of the sanctuary to illustrate or answer the theme question.
