We are excited to launch ‘Messy Church’ - a way for families to be part of a church community in a relaxed inclusive setting. It is built around fun, creativity, hospitality, and celebration. Each session includes time to run around and play, a story, a craft – and food. As our children say, "It's Church - but we can be messy."
Messy Church focuses the learning activity on young children age, with infants joining in their caregiver’s lap, and older children given special roles as leaders. Parents, caregivers and friends have time to get to know each other - good place to talk about parenting and life. You do not have to be a member of a church or comfortable with formal worship to enjoy our community time.
A light supper is included in Messy Church, so we will get to know each other as we eat.
Messy Church takes place in the Parish Hall building, through the parking lot door to the Skey Room.
Wednesday, January 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Skey Room.
Future Dates (monthly):
March 2, April 13, May 4, June 1
