St. Anne's - COVID Safety Practices for All Services in the Church
Before Coming to Church:
Online registration if possible - Register for each service you plan to attend by clicking on the link above.
No computer or internet access? Register in person before the service. Come 20 to 30 minutes early to register inside the church entrance.
During the registration process, you will be asked:
for your name and basic contact information
to answer some basic COVID-19 related screening questions
Those registering online will be asked to confirm that their answers to the screening questions have not changed.
When Arriving at Church:
Please enter via the Gladstone Ave main doors if possible. The accessible entrance on the south side of the church will also be open for those who need it.
There will be Welcome Team members there to greet you.
Please keep a minimum distance of 6 feet (2 metres) away from other people and wear a mask at all times.
Show your ticket (paper or electronic) from the online registration process. You will be asked to confirm that your answers to the screening questions have not changed.
If you did not register online, you can complete the registration and health screening at the Welcome Table when you enter the church.
On Entry into the Church:
Sanitize your hands.
Continue to wear your mask.
Obtain a paper order of service.
Follow directions from Welcome Team.
Sit in designated seating assigned by the Welcome Team.
Stay 6 feet apart - with the exception of members of your "social bubble".
Socialize with mask on and safely distanced only.
During the Worship Service:
Remain in your place except as directed.
Observe the Peace with smiles, words, or gestures from your place.
Refrain from singing.
come forward as directed in single file
receive the host in your hands, mask on
move to the right or left of the altar as directed
remove your mask where designated to consume the consecrated bread
replace your mask and circle back to your seat
Wear your mask at all times, with the following exceptions:
children under 2 (masks not required, but they must remain with their caregivers at all times)
those with a medical condition that makes it difficult to wear a mask
Washrooms are available through the door on the left-hand (south) side of the church (one on the main level and additional at the bottom of the stairs). Washrooms are thoroughly sanitized before and after every church use. In addition, all high-touch surfaces are cleaned before after each service.
Continue to stay 6 feet apart at all times.
When the Service is over:
Continue to wear your mask and stay 6 feet apart.
Follow directions from clergy and Welcome Team.
Take everything with you, including your order of service.
Exit through the Gladstone doors if possible or via the parking lot doors as directed by the Welcome Team.
Refrain from gathering at exits, vestibules or walkways.

The Dufferin Grove Farmers' Market can not currently operate in Dufferin Grove Park so they have set up an online store and are taking orders for delivery and contactless pick up at St. Anne's.
Order online from weekly featured market vendors by Tuesday evening 11:59 p.m. Choose your pick up time
(or have your items delivered).
Come to the church parking lot, to pick up your orders at your scheduled pick up time. The parking lot is located at 270 Gladstone Avenue, on the south side of the church.
If you have not supported the Dufferin Grove Market in the past, this is a great time to start.

Our get-together for children continues. It's a time of friendship, games, learning about faith, a shared prayer, and checking in to support parents. In this time of coronavirus, we are resuming our weekly zoom sessions - moved to Thursdays.

FORMAT FOR RETURNING TO THE CHURCH
We will hold our in-person Messy Church at the church, generally outside - weather permitting. Please follow all safety instructions.
Safety is our priority. We can't make firm longterm plans for the future with the virus, so we will keep in touch to invite you to special occasions.

**COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL. DINNER IS TAKEOUT ONLY** Please note that we will not have a sit down meal. We are providing takeout containers with a simplified menu. Extra safety protocols are in place for volunteers.
Due to COVID restrictions, please line up with social distancing spacing on the walkway between the Parish Hall (651 Dufferin) and the LOFT apartment buildings.
Form a line to the east into the parking lot. Food selections will be indicated on poster on the side door, place your order with the person attending the side door and the food will be brought up to you in a bag to take away or eat outside. Please be patient.
We apologize in advance for delays in orders as the size of our volunteer group is limited by coronavirus protocol.
