20/30s Group hosts Passion Talks: Ever wonder how your interests and your faith are intertwined?
This Month - Marie-Camille Lalande describes the enriching experience of talking about art. Whether in the classroom, the gallery, or over a meal, the conversation takes us into the art and meaning. We see more in a work of art when we share it. We will extend our conversation into implications for living the Christian life.
BACKGROUND: Over the course of the next year, the 20/30s group will be hosting a series "Passion Talks." The idea behind the event is to have different members of St. Anne's (of all ages!) give short 10-20 min talks on a subject that they are passionate about and to share the link between their passion and their own faith journey. You do not have to be in your 20/30s to attend!
Topics could include: gardening, musical theatre, cooking, travel, etc. After the talk, there will be a guided discussion on the topic.
