Holy Moments

We welcome your inquiries about these significant milestones of life.

Baptism

St. Anne's welcomes your interest in Holy Baptism. We offer baptism for infants and children as well as adults.

For adults seeking to be baptized, or parents seeking the baptism for their child, the preparation includes:

  • regular attendance in worship

  • involvement in a ministry of the church

  • participation on a baptism preparation program

Please have a conversation with the pastor if you are interested exploring baptism. You are welcome to participate in Christianity 101 in order to decide if baptism is for you.

Confirmation

For those who have already been baptized, confirmation gives us a way of acknowledging that we have moved deeper into our commitment to live the Christian life.

You may be confirmed at any age. It may be repeated as the "Reaffirmation of Baptism" as significant life experiences deepen your commitment to Christ. If you come from another Christian tradition and wish to be "Received" into the Anglican Communion, you are also welcome to do participate.

Preparation for Confirmation, Reaffirmation or Reception includes:

  • regular attendance in worship

  • involvement in a ministry of the church

  • participation on a confirmation preparation program

Please have a conversation with the pastor if you are interested exploring Confirmation. You are welcome to participate in Christianity 101 in order to decide if confirmation is for you.

Marriage

We welcome your interest in being married at St. Anne’s. We want to do everything possible to make sure your wedding is a wonderful and memorable occasion for you and your loved ones – and to help you to build the strongest possible marriage.

We invest time and energy in every wedding we do, but recognizing the many commitments of our pastoral team, we are only able to perform weddings for members of the parish. If you're not yet a member of our community, and are interested in membership, let's explore the marriage preparation process together.

Preparation for marriage includes:

  • regular attendance in worship

  • involvement in a ministry of the church

  • participation on a marriage preparation program

There is a fee, which we are happy to discuss with you in the initial preparation meeting.

Please note that St. Anne's offers Equal Marriage. Same-Sex couples are very welcome.

Funerals

We open our hearts to you to provide assistance and comfort to you during the difficult period leading up to death - that of a loved one, or your own. Members of our pastoral team will visit, pray with you and support you.

We conduct funerals in St. Anne’s Church, at your chosen funeral home, or at the graveside.

We continue to support you following the death of a loved one.

We encourage you to provide funeral instructions to members of your family and to your funeral home. If you plan to have your funeral at St. Anne's, please also give us a copy of your instructions to keep on file.
