Pastor's Welcome

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the entire St. Anne’s community, I welcome you. St. Anne’s is a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming community located in the heart of the Dufferin-Grove neighbourhood of Toronto. The parish of St. Anne’s covers the entire area between Queen and Dupont Streets and the west Toronto rail lines to Ossington Avenue. Although our parish may be defined by those streets, our welcome has no boundaries. All are welcome to share in the life of St. Anne’s!

At the heart of our parish life is the celebration of the Eucharist and prayer and worship throughout the week. Our Sunday worship is a beautiful and joyful gathering of people from every background and cultural identity. You will certainly find a place of belonging here and be inspired by the glorious music of our choir and the stunning art work by members of the renowned Group of Seven.

The hospitality we experience on Sunday extends throughout the week as we welcome many to our church for music, art, theatre, community dinners, education and social gatherings. As such, St. Anne’s is a vibrant place, with something going on nearly every day of the week. Many people even take advantage of our beautiful church grounds to meet friends for coffee or to simply rest and pray in our gardens.

We welcome you to our community and hope you will share in our life. Come on by on Sunday and worship with us. Or visit the church on Thursdays for quiet prayer and reflection throughout the day and contemplative Eucharist in the evening. Know that when you are here, you are among friends.

Peace and Blessings,

Father Don Beyers
